2. Purpose of the Application
Ahova is designed to help users detect and prevent fraudulent phone calls and scam attempts. The Application analyzes incoming and outgoing calls, including GSM and supported VoIP calls, to identify potential fraud indicators such as:
- known scam phone numbers;
- suspicious conversational patterns;
- fraud-related keywords and phrases.
Conversation analysis is performed locally on the user's device using on-device artificial intelligence technologies. Audio recordings and conversation transcripts are not transmitted to external servers.
3. Information We Collect
3.1 Account Information
When creating an account, we may collect:
- email address;
- phone number.
This information is used for:
- authentication;
- subscription management;
- account synchronization across devices;
- customer support.
3.2 Call-Related Information
The Application may access:
- phone state information;
- call logs;
- contact information;
- call metadata.
This access is required solely for the core functionality of scam detection and call analysis.
3.3 Scam Detection Information
If the Application determines with high probability that a phone number is associated with fraudulent activity, the following information may be transmitted to our servers:
- suspected scam phone number;
- technical indicators related to scam detection methods.
We do not collect or transmit:
- call audio recordings;
- full conversation content;
- speech transcripts;
- personal messages;
- contact lists for marketing purposes.
4. Permissions Used by the Application
The Application may request the following Android permissions:

The Application may use Android CallScreeningService APIs to identify and warn users about potential scam or spam calls. Warnings are generated automatically based on:

- locally analyzed behavioral indicators.
Detection results are probabilistic and may not always be accurate.
6. Data Storage and Retention
The Application may locally store:
- call history;
- scam detection history;
- application settings;
- AI model files.
Users may delete stored information directly within the Application or by uninstalling the Application. Account-related information may be retained while the account remains active.

Deletion requests are typically processed within 24 hours.
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We do not share user conversations, audio recordings, or transcripts with third parties.
Information may be shared only:

- with payment providers necessary for subscription processing.
8. Subscription and Payments
Paid subscriptions are processed through the external payment provider bePaid. We do not store full payment card information on our servers. Payment processing is subject to the privacy policies and security practices of the payment provider.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information against:

- disclosure;
- alteration;
- destruction.
However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.
10. International Data Processing
